Location: Wakefield Office

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, Hybrid working in office 2 x per week

the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Group Finance team s role will support the delivery of finance across all divisions within the group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to support with financial reporting, ensure control of costs and manage the balance sheet for Centre functions and holding companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost management and financial control across the group
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders and SLT members
  • Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly management reports
  • Cash flow analysis and reporting
  • Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Supporting and managing a direct report of the Reporting Accountant
About You

You are a fully qualified accountant with proven experience in a similar role and thrive in a fast‑paced, commercially focused environment. You enjoy working closely with stakeholders, can confidently challenge and influence, and are comfortable balancing reporting responsibilities with business partnering.

You are proactive, detail‑oriented, and keen to develop your career within a group finance function that offers variety, exposure, and progression.

  • Fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA
  • Demonstrable experience in an Accountant role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilityli>

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
