You’ll be backed by an established technical team and will take ownership of multiple projects, with site presence as required.
About the Company
Our client is an established electrical engineering contractor with a long track record delivering LV electrical installation and control-focused solutions, particularly within critical infrastructure environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing electrical projects from handover through to completion and final account
* Building and maintaining programmes, coordinating labour and subcontractors
* Managing procurement, materials, and supplier performance to support delivery
* Owning client communication, progress reporting, and day-to-day problem solving
* Producing and reviewing RAMS, overseeing permits and site compliance
* Coordinating technical queries and supporting design and commissioning activity
* Tracking variations, project costs and commercial risks with the wider team
* Ensuring quality standards are met, including snagging and close-out documentation
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within electrical contracting, building services, industrial, utilities, or control-focused environments
* Strong understanding of electrical installation delivery, site coordination and commissioning readiness
* Confident managing programmes, budgets, and subcontractors across multiple work streams
* Clear, professional communicator with a structured approach to reporting and client management
* Comfortable being office based, with regular site visits as projects require
* Full UK driving licence
Ideally, you will also have:
* Previous experience delivering electrical projects within the water sector (wastewater treatment preferred)
* If not water, experience in a similarly regulated / process-led environment where controls knowledge is important, such as MEICA (or adjacent industrial/process settings)
* Confidence working around control panels, instrumentation, commissioning activity and interface management (alongside specialist teams)
* SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
* ECS / CSCS (preferred, depending on project requirements)
Benefits
* Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
* Car or car allowance plus benefits package
* Permanent, stable opportunity within a well-established contractor
* Varied project portfolio with long-term progression potential
