Cover Supervisors – Immediate Start – West Yorkshire

PK Education are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible, supply basis across secondary schools in Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding West Yorkshire areas.

Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Immediate starts.

Full training provided – ideal for graduates, sports coaches or those considering a career in teaching.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise pupils while they complete pre-set work

• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment

• Provide support and guidance to students during lessons

• Report back to teaching staff at the end of the day

No planning required.

What We’re Looking For (3 Key Requirements):

• Degree-level education OR recent secondary school experience

• Confident managing groups of young people

• Flexible and available for short-notice or same-day bookings

PK Education are working exclusively with a secondary school in Wakefield to recruit Cover Supervisors to work full and part time, on a supply basis. These positions are starting immediately.

The role of the cover supervisor is to:

Supervise pupils whilst they carry out work that has been prepared by a teacher.
Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking this work.
Deal with any immediate problems.
Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher.
The successful applicants will:

Be qualified to degree level or have recent and relevant secondary school support experience.
Have experience working with small or large groups of children.
Be available at least 3 days a week.
Be flexible and available at short notice.
