About the Department

Our results tell a story of rapid improvement and academic excellence:

  • Breaking Barriers:
Last year, 49.6% of our students achieved at least two Grade 4s or above, providing them with the essential foundations for their future careers.
  • Exceeding National Benchmarks:
Our Triple Science outcomes are exceptional, with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics all performing above the national average at Grade 7+.

With our current cohort on track to smash these records, you will be joining us at a time of peak performance and high aspirations.

All science lessons are taught in specialist labs contained within a purpose-built building, two of which are part of the new-build. At GCSE we follow the AQA specification delivering both separate science and the Trilogy Combined Science curriculum.
