Wakefield SEND Support staff- immediate start
Location:
Wakefield & Surrounding areas
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Roles: SEND Teaching Assistants, SEMH Support workers, Behaviour Mentors
We are working closely with Specialists schools, PRU s and alternative provisions across Wakefield who are urgently seeking Passionate, resilient support staff, to work with children and young people with:
- Autism (ASC)
- Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs SEMH)
- ADHD
- Challenging behaviour
The Role:
You will be supporting pupils either 1:1 Or in small groups, helping them regulate emotions, access learning and build confidence in the classroom.
Experience in any of the following is highly valued:
- SEND schools or PRU s
- Youth Work, Care, Mentoring or coaching
- Behaviour support roles
- Psychology, education or social care backgrounds.
(No formal qualifications required, experience and the right attitude matters most.)

Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people (professional or voluntary)
- Willingness to complete safeguarding & Compliance checks
