SEND Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support schools across the Wakefield area. Flexible full-time and part-time roles available, starting ASAP and continuing through the academic year.

The Role

• Full classroom support, small groups, and 1:1 work

• Support pupils with SEND (ASC, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, sensory & communication needs)

• Work closely with teachers to create a safe, positive learning environment

Requirements

✔ Patient, resilient, and caring approach
✔ Right to Work in the UK
✔ Enhanced Child DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one
✔ Two professional references covering the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
