Overview
Assess and deliver quality training to both new entrants and existing engineers. Universal Skills are seeking a hard‑working, motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our delivery team as an electrical tutor/assessor. The role entails delivery across several electrical courses including testing and inspection and BS7671:2018. The role involves both training cohorts and assessing individuals against set criteria. The individual must be able to deliver effectively and help build confidence of learners throughout their time at Universal Skills both in the classroom and when providing feedback in the workshop or on their portfolio.
Although the role is predominantly based at our Wakefield site, there will be times where you may need to travel for training at other locations dependent on client requirements.
- Deliver across several electrical courses including testing and inspection and BS7671:2018.
- Train cohorts and assess individuals against set criteria.
- Build learner confidence in the classroom and through feedback in the workshop or on portfolios.
- Travel to training locations at other sites as required by client requirements.
- Level 3 Electrical
Qualification:
2365/2357 or equivalent - Level 3 Testing and Inspection
- BS7671: 2018
- Assessors must be experienced practitioners in their field and hold an adult teaching qualification (Cert Ed, TAQA or PTLLS) and be D32, D33 or A1 and A2 qualified or working towards. Successful applicants without these qualifications must agree to undertake training and qualify within 6 months of starting work.
