Pay: £140–£220 per day (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with one of our secondary schools to recruit a creative and practical Design & Technology Teacher for a full-time, temporary role. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and inspiring students to design, create, and problem-solve in a workshop and classroom setting ✏️⚙️
The Role:
Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
Teach practical and theory elements such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or CAD/CAM
Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking
Maintain a safe, well-managed, and inclusive learning environment
Support the wider DT department as required
The Ideal Candidate :
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
Confident with practical classroom and workshop management
Creative, organised, and enthusiastic about teaching
Recent experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
