Position: (KS1/2) Primary Teacher
Location:
Normanton, West Yorkshire
Contract Type:
Temporary, on a supply basis.
Salary: £110 – 160 (dependent on experience)
Start Date:
As soon as possible
Trust Education are currently hiring for a Primary Teacher to become part of their team. This is for a role working in a primary school in Normanton, long term basis starting as soon as possible. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has prior experience to support the students’ progression in the classroom.
This is an exciting chance for a motivated primary teacher to make a real impact in school. As a primary teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high quality lessons that inspire students. You will play a key role in helping the students at school, progress whilst providing a nurturing environment where every child will grow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all the pupils including those with SEND and EHCP’s
* Establish and maintain an inclusive and supportive learning environment to enable pupils to increase their confidence, learning and social development
* Have a proven track record of raising attainment in KS1 and KS2
* Supporting SEN pupils, to ensure they thrive alongside their peers
* Work closely with other teachers and support staff across the school and SLT
* Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school’s policies and procedures
* Write end-of-year reports and attend parents evenings to discuss progress with parents/carers
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in KS1 and KS2
* A deep understanding of the primary school curriculum
* A passion for teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire children
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues
* Demonstrates flexibility with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage time effectively
* Ability to identify gaps in learning and implement strategies to close these gaps
* Experience using assessment methods to track and support pupil progress
