Up Front Recruitment are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a long-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in West Yorkshire. This is a permanent role offering stability, professional support, and long-term career development.

This Quantity Surveyor position will involve managing the commercial aspects of groundworks and civil engineering projects, including drainage, reinforced concrete, external works, and surfacing. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be trusted with real responsibility and supported by an experienced management team.

The business is looking for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from early cost control through to final accounts. This Quantity Surveyor role would suit someone who values consistency, clear processes, and working with people who know their trade.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with site teams to ensure projects are delivered commercially sound and professionally managed. This is a role for a Quantity Surveyor seeking a long-term home rather than a short-term move.

The Role

* Quantity Surveyor duties across groundworks and civil engineering projects

* Cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting

* Applications for payment and valuation preparation

* Subcontractor procurement and account management

* Variations, change control, and final accounts

* Close liaison with site management and directors
