Nursery Practitioner; Level 2

We provide a bespoke service to our partner settings, which means we only recruit practitioners who are reliable, proactive, and passionate about Early Years standards. In return, we offer a work schedule built entirely around your availability.

• Support local nursery teams in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
• Implement the EYFS framework through creative play, storytelling, and outdoor activities.
• Maintain an "enabling environment" by ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
• Act as a positive role model, assisting with daily routines including meal times and personal care.
• Build professional relationships with permanent staff and provide feedback to parents/carers.

• Experience:
  
  A minimum of 3 months of recent experience in a UK Private Day Nursery (PVI) is essential (School-only experience is not suitable for these roles).
• Qualifications:
  
  We welcome Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as experienced Unqualified Assistants.
• Morning Readiness:
  You must be reachable and ready to accept bookings from 7:00 AM on the days you choose to work.
• DBS:
  An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one immediately).
• Transport:
  Ability to travel to settings across Wakefield, Castleford, or Pontefract.
• References:
  Ability to provide two professional childcare-related references.
