Sales & Projects Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and organized Sales & Projects Coordinator to join our team in the racking and storage solutions industry.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of on-site project involvement and office-based coordination. You will play a key role in ensuring that racking projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard, while also preparing sales quotations, proposals, and customer liaison.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing quotations and proposals.
  • Follow up on leads and enquiries, providing technical input where required.
  • Support customer relationship management through clear communication and professional service.
Site Coordination
  • Visit client sites to carry out surveys, take measurements, and assess project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress on-site, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and project specifications.
  • Liaise with installers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Project Support
  • Plan, schedule, and track project deliverables.
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and installation schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities and report updates to senior management.
Administration & Office Duties
  • Prepare documentation, drawings, and reports for projects.
  • Support internal communication between departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in the racking and warehousing industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in dealing with clients and site teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CAD knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
  • Understanding of health & safety practices on construction/installation sites.
  • Full UK driving licence (or equivalent).

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands.
  • Team player who can also take initiative when working alone.
