Location Description
Michael Foods, Inc. located in Wakefield, Nebraska is known as the Baseball Capital of Nebraska. Milton G. Waldbaum and Dan Gardner founded our egg-processing business in 1950 here in Wakefield. Our location raises chickens and produces tankers of liquid egg to be consumed by our processing facilities.
Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for completing daily duties well prioritizing and handling a wide‑range of other tasks that arise periodically through the day. They assist managers and supervisors upon request as well as perform other administrative duties as needed (handling department mail, etc.).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile, update, generate and distribute reports to appropriate partiesPerform administrative duties as needed (answering phones, photocopying, faxing, etc.)Assist in ordering parts/repairs of plant radios and scheduling trouble shooting service callsSort and inventory materials received and communicate with appropriate departmentsAid with presentations (i.e. preparation, room set‑up, projector, laptop, etc.)Help with Kronos reimaging biometricsPurchasing for all farm locationsUtilizing spreadsheets to track paperwork and processesStock Conference room fridgeCreate POs, Manage and compile paperwork (invoices and packing slips) for HR, Farms, & SafetyReview vendor accounts and statementsResolve key fob problemsHandle uniform ordering and issuesPerforms other duties as requiredQualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills a must.Ability to work independently.Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Print Shop).Excellent oral and written communication skills.Professionally generates and formats reports.Organized and detailed‑oriented.Ability to juggle a multitude of tasks.Must be professional in dealing with personnel issues including confidential information.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Ability to maintain records and filing systems.Previously held an Office / Administrative position#J-18808-Ljbffr
