Legal Clerk

Police HQ Wakefield

One part time permanent post - 22.12 hours (working days flexible)

Salary : £24,747 per annum pro rata.

West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a part time office based Legal Clerk to join the Legal Services Department based in Wakefield for 22.12 hours.

Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and fully comprehensive clerical service to our Legal Services team. You will also have knowledge of and the ability to operate computer systems such as Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Eligible candidates will come with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be organised and be able to work to tight deadlines, ensuring that you prioritise your own workload. Experience of previous working in an office / legal environment is desirable although not essential.
