Position: Group Home House Manager / Residential Program Director - Albion
Location: Reading, MA
Pay rate: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Comprised of four 10‑hour days Wednesday – Saturday
Hours: Full‑time, 40 hours per week
* This position requires 24/7 on‑call for emergencies*

The Program Director is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the residential program, implementing agency policy and practice, and ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS). This person protects the rights, freedoms and confidentiality of residents and supervises the medical, nutritional health and general welfare of individuals living within the program.
- Provide oversight of medical health, nutritional standards, educational and general welfare of the individuals; provide hands‑on support for ADLs such as lifting, transferring, bathing, toileting and grooming.
- Implement policies, practices and procedures of the Residential Program.
- Participate in the development and periodic review of the Individual Service Plan in collaboration with other participants.
- Participate in the screening and selection of all individuals considered for admission, and in the screening, interviewing and hiring of staff.
- Develop and maintain relief manuals detailing daily operations and resident limitations; provide orientation to all staff.
- Assume responsibility for delegating or performing vital operations such as weekly food shopping, house maintenance, resident medical appointments and personal needs.
- Must have active MAP certification
- High school diploma required (BA in Human Services or related field preferred)
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- At least 3 years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Passion and dedication to supporting our people
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Must pass company background and reference checks
