Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role oversees core accounting operations and ensures accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting. The position plays a key role in strengthening processes and internal controls, with primary ownership of inventory, cost of goods sold, revenue, and accounts payable. This individual will manage a small team, partner cross-functionally, support month-end close and audits, and assist with tax and special projects in a fast-growing environment.

• Lead and improve accounting policies, processes, and controls in line with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting, partnering closely with operations to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Support annual audits and compliance initiatives
• Drive automation and system enhancements in collaboration with IT
• Mentor and develop a lean accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of public and/or private accounting experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with inventory accounting, ERP systems (Net Suite preferred), and high-growth environments
