Tax Supervisor – Public Accounting; Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join a growing CPA firm in Wakefield, Massachusetts
. The firm serves a diverse client base ranging from large publicly held corporations to closely held businesses across multiple industries. • Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm policies and professional standards
• Plan, schedule, and manage tax engagements using firm and client resources effectively
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong, long-term relationships
• Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and related work papers
• Conduct tax research and prepare supporting documentation
• Communicate project status, findings, and opportunities with clients and internal team members
• Provide training, guidance, and supervision to staff and junior team members
• Maintain and expand technical expertise in relevant tax areas and industry specializations

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (BSBA preferred)
• CPA candidate or pursuing an advanced degree strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
• Strong ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles
• Experience with Quick Books
