Licensed Mental Health Clinician role providing therapy and group facilitation for children, adolescents, and families within a small clinic. Must hold an active North Carolina clinical license (LCSW, LCMHC/LCMHCA, or LMFT/LMFTA) and possess strong documentation and communication skills. Preference for experience with CBT, play-based and trauma-informed approaches, autism/ADHD, emotional regulation, and running social skills or coping groups; compensation is competitive on a 1099 basis.
Carolina School Services (CSS) is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our small, supportive clinic team. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys building strong relationships with children and families, providing practical therapy tools, and leading engaging social skills groups.
Compensation / Structure
- Pay: Competitive, based on experience and scope of role
- Structure: 1099
Qualifications (Required)
- Active North Carolina license in one of the following (or equivalent):
- LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- LCMHC / LCMHCA – Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Associate
- LMFT / LMFTA – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate
- Experience providing therapy to children/adolescents and/or families (clinic, school, community mental health, etc.)
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but a Plus)
- Experience with CBT, play-based interventions, and/or trauma-informed approaches
- Experience with autism/ADHD, emotional regulation, and school-based concerns
- Group facilitation experience (social skills, coping skills, anxiety groups)
