Lead Pre‑K Teacher – Heritage Children’s Academy of Wake Forest

Premier Early Childhood Education Partners is hiring a Lead Pre‑K Teacher.

Pay Range

$16.00/hr – $18.00/hr (based on skills and experience). Compensation for this position is $17.00–$20.00/hr, depending on education and experience.

Monday – Friday, 8:15 am – 5:15 pm

Qualifications
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 12 early‑childhood education credit hours.

  • Responsibilities
    • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
    • Implement lesson plans and curriculum on a weekly basis, covering all areas of child development and following the classroom schedule/daily routine; use parent communication app efficiently.
    • Establish a professional rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
    • Ensure the safety and well‑being of each child, respond to their emotional needs, and maintain an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
    • Maintain child assessment and portfolio for each child, and conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in November and May.
    • Perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
    • Carry out daily classroom responsibilities related to the care of the children.
