General DescriptionAs a General Maintenance Technician you will gain hands‑on experience in our service center, diagnosing technical issues and delivering outstanding service. You will work with brakes, alignments, and continue to learn in the rapidly changing automotive industry.
Responsibilities- Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem solving.
- Handle brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushing, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
- Provide excellent guest service through clear communication and feedback about vehicles.
- Mentor junior technicians.
- Document all work performed on the repair order.
- Report safety issues immediately to management.
- Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light/heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No relocation is being offered.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsor now or in future.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- ASE Certification.
- Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
- Experience in electrical, A/C, and primary/advanced fuel ignition.
- Strong work ethic, self‑motivated to produce results.
- Hard‑working, dependable, conscientious, communicative, and a team player.
- Commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry.
- Analysis, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to read and follow procedures and guidelines.
- Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
