Position: Transportation & Logistics Manager

Location: Wailuku, HI

Pay: $50,000 to $60,000/year

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in transportation, delivery, warehouse management, inventory control, and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) service in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Ability to work weekends as needed)

Job Description:

• Plan and coordinate transportation routes to effectively complete customer deliveries, product transfers, container hauling, supplier pick-ups, and “hot shot” deliveries.
• Utilize Samsara (GPS) software tools to improve route efficiency, track and diagnose alerts, and maintain accountability of drivers in the field.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
• Support the warehouse and deliver product on routes when necessary.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and other operations initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with DMV, DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement solutions.
• Adhere to the company safety and food safety policy throughout the facility and vehicles.
• Manage the transportation and delivery department budget.
• Other related duties as required, including supporting warehouse operations when needed.

Position Requirements:

• Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License required; CDL A or B preferred
• Working knowledge of FMCSA & DOT regulations, fleet maintenance, and warehouse operations
• Must obtain and maintain Medical Examiner’s Certification per DOT/FMCSA requirements
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop personnel and systems for future growth
• Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of adapting to operational needs.
