Managing Attorney - Maui, Hawaii

Overview

The Legal Aid Society of Hawai is Hawais oldest and largest non-profit public interest law firm with offices statewide. Through its dedicated staff, Legal Aid helps ensure justice and fairness for all by providing civil legal aid to the most vulnerable in our society.

We are seeking a Managing Attorney of our Maui County offices to lead a dedicated team of attorneys, advocates, and support staff in providing critical legal services to those in need.

• Represent clients and supervise staff who assist clients on Maui, Molokai and Lanai in the areas of family law, housing, consumer protection, and public assistance.
• Manage projects and oversee grant activities.
• Engage with the community, conduct outreach and education.
• Support statewide initiatives and participate in overall program management as a member of the statewide management team.
• Ensure administrative compliance.

Compensation: $80,501-$93,948 commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• $150/month student loan repayment.

This position is currently a hybrid of remote and in-office work based on a weekly rotation schedule. Hybrid working condition is subject to change.
