Tax Senior

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our team based in Honolulu, HI. In this full-time on-site role, the Tax Senior will prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns and other key tax compliance obligations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with key components of global tax provision for annual GAAP financial statements and performing tax-technical research related to business initiatives to clearly communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will contribute to cross-functional projects, process improvement efforts, and tax savings opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field of study
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience at a large accounting firm and/or internal tax department at a mid- to large-sized company
• Experience with U.S. corporate income tax concepts and reporting requirements
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficiency in tax-related software (e.g. One Source) and tools is a plus
• Prior experience within the automotive or retail industry is advantageous
