- At the GS-12 you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the Full Performance Level (GS-13), you will perform the following:
- You will plan, direct, coordinate and administer services required to accomplish full range of facility projects and services for all USINDOPACOM and subordinate commands.
- You will act as the facility engineer which includes responsibility to ensure maintenance, repair and construction projects are performed.
- You will oversee facility planning, review of design plans, construction oversight, maintenance support to ensure that projects and services are consistent with regulatory requirements.
- You will analyze all facilities requirements requests to prioritize and determine execution methods for each project.
- You will review and revise fire and safety, and disaster preparedness instructions.
- You will create and update building drawings in AutoCAD, and have skill and experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite of tools, and the capability to rapidly learn new tools, including AI-enabled platforms.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This is a Key position. In the event of a national emergency or mobilization, this position cannot be vacated which requires the incumbent, or designated alternate, to be screened from military recall status.
- You may be required to lift up to 50lbs in weight.
- You may be required to climb ladders, work in cramped spaces, and stand for long periods
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
