Pastry Cook 2 – Hilton Waikoloa Village

Hilton Waikoloa Village, a 62-acre property on Hawaii Island with three unique outdoor swimming pools and a protected lagoon, is seeking a Pastry Cook 2 to join our team. • Maintain and set up the high‑volume baking line, producing bread, pastries, and dessert items.
• Prepare cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, hot and cold desserts, and chocolates to complete, eye‑appealing pieces for restaurants and banquet functions.
• Select only the highest standard ingredients, ensuring visual quality and taste.
• Check proper storage of products (first‑in, first‑out), monitor expiration dates, label, date, and rotate perishable items.
• Keep refrigeration, equipment, storage, and working areas clean and in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including proper use of sanitizing solution.
• Organize mise en place for the next day’s preparation.
• Ensure HACCP compliance through temperature monitoring, good food safety and sanitation practices, and maintaining the HACCP log, hot and cold holding.

• Minimum 3 years pastry experience in a high‑volume kitchen/bakery.
• Experience with cakes, breads, and various pastries.
• Weekend availability and ability to work varied shifts.
• Previous hotel or resort experience is a plus.

Hourly rate: $28.22 – $31.35.
