Overview
Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus is seeking a High School Hawaiian Language Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is a student-centered educator with strong knowledge of ōlelo and mo‘omeheu Hawai‘i, effective instructional practices, and a commitment to Hawaiian Culture-Based Education. This full-time position includes planning and delivering engaging, culturally grounded learning experiences while supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of high school learners.
Candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration skills and contribute to a positive, mission-driven learning environment. We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred). This position includes full employee benefits and follows a Monday–Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm schedule with dedicated time for team planning and professional development.
