- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide support to nursing staff by preparing equipment and assisting with medical procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
