• Must be at least U.S. Citizen.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a valid Driver's License - Insurable Driving Record.
• Must pass a background investigation and No felony convictions, also pass a drug screen.
• No Domestic Violence records.
• Good moral character.
• Available to work shifts - 24/7 operation.

• Receive and process inmates into the custody of the institution; search prisoners to take charge of personal property.
• Supervise and control inmate behavior while performing various tasks completed during the daily operation of the detention center.
• Follow and enforce all detention center rules and regulations.

• Paid time off. (vacation, sick, and personal).
• $3000 monthly starting pay (probation) up to $3780 monthly.
• Fully paid health benefits like dental, vision, life insurance, and medical.
• 20-year OPERS retirement.

As a division of the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office, the Wagoner County Jail is devoted to safeguarding our community, inmates, and staff.
