Project Manager, Operations Manager

Overview

Greater New Orleans, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Project Manager with mechanical or industrial experience to oversee fabrication and engineering projects from inception to completion. This role includes oversight of CAD drafting work as a supporting function.

• Manage and coordinate mechanical/industrial fabrication projects
• Lead project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery
• Collaborate with internal drafting staff to review and approve CAD shop drawings and Bills of Material
• Serve as primary point of contact between clients, engineering, and production teams
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide guidance to drafters and technicians involved in project execution
• Other duties as assigned

• 2–10 years of project management experience in a mechanical or industrial environment
• Working knowledge of CAD drafting processes; ability to review technical drawings
• Proficient in project coordination and cross-functional communication
• Experience with AS400 and Solid Works is a plus
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail

• Primarily office-based role with minimal physical demands
• Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods
• No travel required

• Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
