During official training weeks, Managers In Training work alongside Training Managers to learn best practices for managing a convenience store location. In supervisory weeks, they gain practical experience working a variety of shifts while applying leadership skills. After training, they join the bench leadership team until assigned to their own store.
What You’ll Do- Greet guests with a warm welcome and smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Assist the Store Manager with building and developing a strong team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
- Set clear, measurable goals, hold yourself and others accountable, and communicate frequently and effectively.
- Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and keep sales floor fully stocked.
- Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in hot‑food locations.
- Maintain a clean store, ensuring the coffee station, food service area, and bathrooms are spotless.
- Operate the cash register efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
Our stores are open rain or shine, weekends, and holidays. Every team member contributes to delivering the best experience to our guests.
Qualifications- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred Education: N/A.
- Minimum Experience: 1 year in retail or food service.
- Preferred Experience: 1 year in a leadership role in retail, guest service, or restaurant.

Licenses/Certifications:
Serv Safe or food safety certification (plus but not mandatory). - Soft Skills: Comfortable speaking with guests and team members; high energy; able to move quickly between tasks; team‑oriented and willing to help; computer skills helpful.
Full‑time – 40 regular hours maximum with 5 hours overtime required. Weekend and holiday hours are required. Positions may involve day, night, and rotating shifts in 24‑hour locations.
Travel5% required. Must be able to deliver deposits to the bank independently and have a personal vehicle.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally; stand or walk 8 hours a day; reach, bend, squat, and twist as needed; work in cool temperatures; noise level moderate.
OtherSpecialized attire required in food establishments (hats or visors, gloves, etc., provided).
