ScheduleFull‑time: 40 hours per week (8:00am – 4:30pm). Part‑time hours available. One weekend per month.
Summary Of PositionIn accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Housekeeper is responsible for keeping assigned areas and equipment clean, sanitary and aseptic by scouring, scrubbing, polishing, using germicides and wet dusting. May assume responsibility for floor care, laundry or Independent Living housekeeper. Able to work independently with little supervision.
Requirements- High School education or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Possess the necessary dexterity to operate levers, buttons, machinery, etc.
- Possess the ability to bend, stoop and reach at different angles.
- May stand on feet for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation.
- May be scheduled every other holiday.
- Must be able to work with cats/dogs.
