Position Type: Full-time

Rate: $16.65 – $21.39 per hour

Schedule: 184 days, 6.0 hours (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch)

Job Description

Qualifications Preferred:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two years of child care or aide certification preferred.
  • Ability to obtain an Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education and keep it current.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of computers.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other personnel.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to perform clerical skills including, but not limited to, filing, copying and record keeping.
  • Must enjoy working with school‑age children with disabilities.
  • A working knowledge of copiers, faxes, and other devices commonly used in public schools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have patience and be cheerful.
  • Ability to successfully complete CPR/First Aid training.
  • Ability to perform items as listed in the essential duties.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and articulately.
  • Successful validation of qualifications as determined by interview.
  • Other relevant criteria as determined by the Board of Education, Superintendent and/or designee may find appropriate are acceptable.
