Position OverviewWe’re seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our production team for 2nd and 3rd shift. This position is responsible for performing day-to-day operations within our food manufacturing facility, ensuring all processes are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor processing, milling, and packaging equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment and production areas to maintain food safety and quality standards.
- Complete production logs, batch records, and other documentation accurately and in real time.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adhere to strict food safety and quality control protocols.
- Assist with setup, changeovers, and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50+ pounds throughout the day. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and consistent product quality.
- This is a labor-based role and requires operator to be on their feet throughout the day doing hands-on work.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing, ingredient processing, or related industrial setting preferred (not required).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
- Must maintain a reliable attendance record and positive attitude.
