Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist with compounding and preparing medication orders, maintaining drug inventory control and distributing medications throughout the Ridgeview system while working in a highly automated pharmacy environment.
Job FunctionsWhen Working as an Inventory Management Technician, additional duties include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in solving math ratios and other equations.
- Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate in English for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience in a hospital.
- National certification.
- Current Minnesota Board of Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern licensure within 12 months of hire.
