Overview

Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success. The district serves about 4,000 students across multiple communities and operates several facilities including elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school.

Under the guidance of the Head Cook, the Nutritional Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties involved in the preparation, set-up and operation of food/serving lines to provide healthy, wholesome meals to students in accordance with local, state and federal food production and sanitation standards, guidelines and requirements.

• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a Production Kitchen is preferred.

This is a Grade 4 position with an hourly rate from $15.91 to $20.32 depending upon qualifications as outlined in the Nutritional Services Collective Bargaining Agreement, plus a part-time benefits package that starts on day one of employment.
