Ice & Easy is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver (Independent Contractor) to complete safe, on-time deliveries of bagged ice using a company-provided box truck . This role includes frequent material handling, use of an electric pallet jack , strong customer service, and adherence to safety and compliance requirements.

• Safely operate a company-provided box truck on assigned routes
• Load, secure, and deliver product; verify quantities and complete delivery documentation
• Use an electric pallet jack and other material-handling equipment as needed
• Provide professional, service-oriented customer interactions
• Use a smartphone for routing, delivery notes, and communication
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections; report safety or maintenance concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work areas
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and requirements

• 2+ years of professional driving/delivery experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be certified/qualified to operate our vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check and driving record (MVR) check
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a DOT physical (current card or ability to obtain)
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical work throughout the day
• Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing daily schedules and weather conditions
• Ability to obtain and maintain General Liability insurance (contractor-provided)

• Experience driving box trucks
• Experience using an electric pallet jack
• Route delivery experience and familiarity with delivery documentation

This engagement is offered as an independent contractor (1099) position. Contractor is responsible for applicable taxes and maintaining required insurance coverage, including General Liability insurance . Engagement is contingent on meeting safety and screening requirements.
