Description:

$35-45/hr.
OVERVIEW:

Employee must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the commercial, industrial, and residential electrical service field. Candidate must hold a current state of Texas journeyman license and pass background check and drug test. Employee will provide expertise in installing and troubleshooting electrical wiring and equipment according to all state and local codes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems in full compliance with safety procedures and policies.

• Use industry related hand and power tools

• Ability to operate various types of types of equipment.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread a variety of conduit; install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems, and other wire raceway systems
• Feed, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gears, receptacles, switches, etc.
• Trouble shoot equipment, electrical systems, and control circuits
• Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
• Employ new technologies and be committed to remaining up to date with them

• Install power, lighting, and control systems

• Read and interpret electrical schematics

• Locate and repair faults in electrical systems and circuits

• Verify compliance and functionality of installations

• Document work orders efficiently including correct details.

• Supervise other electricians.

• Adhere to all state and federal safety policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIROMENT:

Employees must be able to:

• Lift 50 to 100 lbs.
• Work overtime & weekends.

• Work from ladders, pull wires, bend conduit.

• Fully squat, stoop, and kneel while wearing a 25lb. tool belt.

• Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires.

• Work from various lifts, and bucket trucks.

• Work in a variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat, high noise levels, etc."
