HOLT CAT is excited to offer a summer internship in our Machine Sales department. This 12-week program provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in our dealership's operations. You will work with different departments, gaining hands‑on experience and valuable insights into the Heavy Equipment industry.
Throughout this dynamic internship, you will learn from experienced professionals and understand our legendary customer service and values‑based leadership framework. The primary goal is to facilitate your learning and development. By the end, you will present your findings on the sales lifecycle to our team.
Essential Functions- Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from leadership
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write, and understand work instructions
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree program with a current emphasis in Agriculture, Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Must be actively enrolled in a University or College program with an anticipated graduation year of 2026‑2027
- Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- No travel is expected for this position
- This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
