H‑E‑B is seeking an energetic and motivated Partner to work in the Perishables department at Waco 04 Market. The role is part‑time, requiring dedication to customer service, food safety, and department upkeep.

• Provide superior customer service, taking orders by telephone or in person, answering product questions, and assisting with selections.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh products daily, including slicing, labeling, and rotating items.
• Maintain a well‑stocked and well‑maintained department while complying with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Scan items on Telxon for inventory and production purposes.
• Assist in technical areas as needed and contribute to suggestive selling to boost sales.
• Participate in cleaning and sanitizing display cases, operating and maintaining equipment, and following H‑E‑B SOPs.

• Aguas
  :
  Peel, cut, and chop fresh fruits and vegetables; prepare specialty drinks and food products.
• Floral
  :
  Design floral arrangements; provide fresh, quality products; execute merchandising programs; track seasonal records.
• Market
  :
  Cut, trim, and prepare meat for service and self‑service counters; ensure proper product rotation and storage; weigh, price, and package selections; operate power prep equipment.
• Produce
  :
  Stock and rotate produce; assist floral department; explain product knowledge and offer samples; cut, wrap, and price produce; maintain signing programs.
• Seafood
  :
  Knowledgeable about fish and shellfish; weigh, price, and package selections; maintain coolers and freezers.

• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer systems knowledge (Telxon, ACR, label machine).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs in the Market department or 50 lbs in Seafood, and perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and handling wet or cold conditions.
• Read, write, and understand workload instructions.
