We are seeking entry-level, part‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. A Retail Sales Associate works with the entire staff to ensure excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions that include jewelry, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). The role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity, with pay influenced by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Partner with all employees to provide a memorable experience.
• Complete assigned training and other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting as needed.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• Assist customers in parking lots and exterior storage areas as required.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Ability to a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
