Shift supervisor, Restaurant​/Food Service

Position Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position at Ascension Providence, 6901 Medical Parkway, Waco, TX 76712. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Fixed pay rate $20.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only.

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement: Prior experience as a supervisor in food service and in cash handling is required.
