Pride Health is hiring for Registered Nurses (Home Health) to support our client’s medical facility in Waco, TX 76706
.It is a 3+ months of contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Primary functions of the Registered Nurse are to administer skilled nursing care for clients of all ages in their place of residence, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring agency and assume the responsibility for coordination of care.

• Assess and monitor home health or hospice patients, developing and updating individualized Plans of Care based on physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, ensuring quality, continuity, and compliance with regulatory and third-party payer requirements.
• Educate patients and families on medications, care techniques, safety, and self-care based on age, condition, and readiness to learn.
• Supervise and guide support staff (HHA/STNA/LVN) and coordinate referrals to other healthcare agencies as needed.
• Perform on-call duties, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, and communicate effectively with all parties involved in patient care.

• Effectively assesses and responds to patient and family needs in diverse care settings.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and critical nursing skills, including wound care, phlebotomy, and IV therapy.
• Competent in using and maintaining medical equipment, catheters, and administering respiratory therapy.
• Maintains current licensure, confidentiality, and meets continuing education requirements.
• Works independently and collaboratively, adapting to flexible schedules and local travel.

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse - Required
• CHPN certification - Preferred
• Current BLS certification - Required
• Current driver’s license - Required
• Must have reliable transportation and insurance - Required

• Homecare Homebase Software Experience - Required
• OASIS Experience - Required
• 1-2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting - Required
• 2+ years' Home health experience - Required.

• Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program - Required
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing - Preferred

• Job Type: 14 weeks, possible extension
• Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts
• On Call: Required as assigned
• Local Pay range: $40-$44/hour (
  * Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
• Travel Gross Pay Range: $2000 - $2246/Week (
  * Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
