American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in a conglomerate medical, surgical, and cardiovascular intensive care unit, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Works in a conglomerate ICU encompassing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular critical care
• Patient population includes TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, CHF, pneumonia, hypoxic/respiratory failure, and HF cases
• Specialized equipment and procedures include vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Day shift: 07:45–19:15
• 13-week assignment
• Floating required within the critical care service line, which includes ICU and step-down units

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Provides critical care nursing to a diverse ICU patient population spanning medical, surgical, and cardiovascular conditions
• Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies — candidates living within the facility's radius threshold may be eligible at a reduced pay rate
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
