Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 30-bed Stroke and Urology unit, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Position is located on the 4 South Surgical Nursing unit, a 30-bed Stroke and Urology unit
• Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR is used for charting
• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate
• Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including discharge planning
• Navy or maroon scrubs required
• Local candidates are eligible to apply; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
