The Associate Manager, Configuration Management will be responsible for the daily activities of a team of configuration and dataేస managing specialists. Successful candidate will act as the L3

Harris technical interface to the customer for all configuration and data management activities across the site. Contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.

• Manages experienced professionals and represents the Configuration/Data management function for the site.
• Manages cost, quality and schedule for all programs within span of control.
• Trains and mentors team members.
• Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts.
• Develops or champions new concepts or technologies.
• Manages the implementation of functional strategies and recommends operational plans that directly impact the short to mid‑term function or business area results.

• In‑depth knowledge of the types of configuration control and data management skill sets.
• Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
• Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
• Familiarity with staff workload forecasting.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office programs).
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

• Support of business development to include estimating as well as writing of subcontractor specs and statements of work, RFI/RFP responses and proposals.

• Bachelor’s Degree with six (6) years of prior configuration and data management utk enumeration variants; early site technology enrolment experienced; (This cheat of variance) ;
• Graduate Degree with four (4) years of prior configuration and data management and/or related engineering discipline experience ;
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of ten (10) years of prior configuration and data management and/or related engineering discipline experience.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance at the time of hire.
• Must be a US Citizen.

• Experience with Teamcenter PLM.
