General Manager Escapology

Job Description

We are seeking a customer service oriented and highly organized Escape Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our soon to open escape room facility in Waco or our venue in Cypress. As the general manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of our escape rooms, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and managing a team of game masters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the escape room facility, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management
• Hire, train, and manage a team of game masters and support staff
• Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service and satisfaction
• Monitor and maintain the quality of the escape room experiences, ensuring that all puzzles and clues are functional and engaging
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the escape rooms and increase revenue
• Manage budgets and financial reporting, including tracking revenue and expenses
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the escape room facility is properly maintained and meets safety standards
• Provide feedback to game masters and support staff to ensure that they are meeting performance standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve the escape room experiences

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred, but we will consider anyone with the below qualifications:
Experience managing a team in the hospitality or entertainment industry
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Experience with event planning and marketing
Passion for providing exceptional customer service
Knowledge of puzzles and games is a plus but not required- we will train
