Senior Program Director
The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team of passionate professionals as the Senior Program Director in charge of membership and facility sports in Waco Texas.
The more we grow, the more we can give back to the communityUnder the direction of the Greater Waco YMCA Executive Director, the Senior Program Director will oversee the success of the Greater Waco Membership services and facility sports department.
Membership GrowthGrow membership units from 4820 units in 2026 to 5057 units by 2028
Member RetentionIncrease membership retention in Family 1 and 2 memberships.
Third Party GrowthIncrease/Maintain at least an 80% unique user swipe for each third party pay we accept.
Program GrowthIncrease program participants in facility sports from 1446 to 1652 by 2028
Duties include, but not limited to- Program operations
- Program Development and supervision
- Staff supervision, hiring, training, coaching and ensuring safe operations
- Working with Core Groups to determine best practices and ensure standards are met
- Facility sports programming to engage families
- Balanced budget and managing planned/forecasted growth in program departments
- Staff training and development
- Program development and growth
- Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a related field or equivalent experience
- Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities.
- Five or more years of experience in supervising or directing programs as a program and/or center director preferred
- YMCA Team Leader or Multi-Team/Branch Leader certification preferred
- Are adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment including periodic weekends and non-business hour workdays
- Serve as a leader in the Annual Giving campaign and other fundraising initiatives
- Model the YMCA core values:
Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations - Must be able to pass background and drug screening
$55,000-$60,000 DOE
