Overview

Occupational Therapist – PRN/Flexible at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Waco, TX. Provide 1:1 therapy in real‑life settings, flexible hourly schedule, no evenings/weekends/holidays, clinical autonomy, collaborative team, growth opportunities.

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re‑assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make home and community safety recommendations, and provide referrals and education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, client and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and enhance outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of OT work experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses (preferred).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and transfer patients up to 100 lbs following safety procedures.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Physical requirements:
  
  pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning.
• Health screen/examination may be required before assignment and periodically thereafter per local and state regulations.
