Sr. Financial Analyst​/Staff Accountant

Location: Waco, TX – Onsite

Reports To: Plant Controller

We are seeking a dynamic finance professional to support both plant-level financial analysis and core accounting functions within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

This role will initially focus heavily on financial planning, cost analysis, and operational support, with increasing involvement in traditional accounting responsibilities including month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR oversight, and audit support.

• Lead plant-level forecasting and budgeting processes
• Perform variance analysis (materials, labor, overhead)
• Analyze standard vs. actual manufacturing costs
• Build and maintain financial models for production and capital projects
• Partner with operations to identify cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Support inventory valuation and cycle count analysis
• Prepare monthly KPI and financial performance reports
• Conduct profitability analysis by product line

• Assist with month-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support AP/AR processes and intercompany transactions
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost roll-ups
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in manufacturing finance or accounting
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory analysis required
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
