Senior Vice President Commercial Lending

Our client, a relationship-driven community bank, is seeking a Senior Commercial Lender to join its team in Waco, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial banker who values long-term stability, community involvement, and growth within a strong banking organization.

The Senior Commercial Lender will be responsible for developing and managing a diversified commercial loan portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor to local business owners and real estate investors. This role requires a well-rounded generalist who is comfortable handling both Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending relationships.

Our client is seeking a seasoned banker who brings strong credit skills, relationship depth in the Waco market, and a long-term commitment mindset.

• Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio consisting of CRE and C&I relationships
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and community involvement
• Structure, underwrite, and present credit opportunities in accordance with bank policy
• Maintain strong asset quality through ongoing portfolio management
• Serve as a trusted financial partner to business clients
• Collaborate with credit and executive leadership to support sound growth

• 10+ years of commercial lending experience
• Strong background as a generalist lender (CRE and C&I)
• Formal credit training and/or meaningful credit analysis experience required
• Demonstrated ability to structure and analyze complex credit relationships
• Proven business development and portfolio management skills
• Strong ties to the Waco market
